My Top 5 Picks (as of now) for 2012!
- The Solitude of Prime Numbers
Lovely, simple, yet elegant and mesmerizing. A story I fell in love in an instant. A story about loss, rejection, leaving, and finding company in solitude. Giordano writes his characters in the most realistic way. No Mary Sue but real and honest characters. One of my all-time favorites. A beautiful novel that will carve a place in your heart.

- Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World
My first ever Murakami book. Surely this isn’t one of the best works by Murakami but I was awestruck. Not on the story but on how he creates the story. It’s like you’re being tugged between reality and dreams. Reading this book makes me feel like playing “Connect the dots”. And while reading this novel, I’d discover the shocking truth as to how the two stories are related.
- It’s Kind of a Funny Story
A life saver. The story behind on why it’s a life saver is really quite of a funny story.
- Paper Towns
My all-time favorite John Green book! This book captured what I really want. And Ben. Oh my god, Ben. Ben is definitely one of the most humourous and and awesome characters ever! I love him from the bottom of my hypothalamus 5ever. Anyways, Paper Towns is filled with humour and adventure and mystery! Definitely my cup of tea!
- The Book Thief
A book about a bookworm. Simple description, yet so much depth. What’s not to love about this book?
