Shiver

I'm looking for songs from my parents' generation. I found some of my old favorites. I remember myself when I was about 5 years old. I let our player play these for me until I fall asleep. And I'd like to share them with you.

I'm not really good at titles. I put 'Shiver' because during cold days, they make me feel warm. And coffee, of course.

I hope you'd find peace of mind and some time away from the modern mainstream songs that we hear everyday. :)

The edit is failed though. I don't have enough time to exert more effort for it. I'm kinda busy.

Anyways, here's how the track list go (and the download links):

  ♫ Drive by Incubus

    Passenger Seat by Stephen Speaks
    I'll Be by Edwin McCain
She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5
    Perfect by Simple Plan
    My Immortal by Evanescence
    The Reason by Hoobastank
    You and Me by Lifehouse

33rd Manila International Book Fair

How the day went:

  • There were tons of people. The place was flooded with books, bookworms, and heaps of more books! It felt like paradise!
  • We saw some of our teachers a while ago at McDo.
  • I finally got a copy of Anna Dressed in Blood! I do hope it's worth a read. :)
  • Today was surely fun even though I had a headache, felt like vomiting, got quite dizzy but still, I had a great time. Not only I get to spend some quali-tea time with my friends (HAHAHA) I also get to be surrounded by awesome bookworms and books. ‘Till next year again!
  • Camille Co was at MOA too! I think she was hosting some kind of a seminar, I'm not sure though.
  • (4th photo) “Listen to your heart. You are loved.” I found this note on one of the bookshelves in Fully Booked. I don’t know if it came from a customer or from the staff. It may not be intended to be given to me or whoever but I felt really lucky to find it. I placed a smile on my face. It was such a sweet serendipity.

A whimsical trip to Lucban, Quezon. (Landscape spam)

Photos while on the road. I was behind glass which explains why it's blurry. :)

(Dramatic sunlight shot)

In the Garden of Eden.

 (Adam and Eve)

(I love this shot because that ray of sunlight made the entire photo better.)

We climbed 200 steps to reach the top of the Garden. It was so exhausting that I almost hurled. But it was worth it because the view was enthralling! But unfortunately, I wasn't able to take some shots because I was too tired. Sorry about that Haha.
Our teachers call these trips "educational". I disagree. I mean, sure we learned how to save a drowning individual but would the lessons really matter if the pool was like 4 feet deep and some of my batchmates didn't even know how to swim? Oh god. But hey, I enjoyed the trip anyway so yeah . :)

“The room fell quiet. And as I read down the list of over one hundred and fifty eight-grade boys, I realized that to me, there had only ever been one boy.”

So excited for the MIBF! BOOKS + AUTHORS + BOOKWORMS + DISCOUNTED PRICES = PARADISE. ♥
I’ll be attending on the 15th of September, the  second to the last day of the fair. Any of you joining the event on that day?
I’m hoping to see all of you bookworms out there! :D

Interior Inspo

I'm a sucker for interior designs. I was kind of think of taking a course (besides Architecture) of Interior Design or Industrial Design in college.

Anyway, whenever I'm not reading or blogging, I just surf around the net for designs. Home, buildings, bedrooms, apartments and the like. And sometimes, I grab my trusty pencil and any paper and I design some on my own.

Here's some of my most favorite interiors:

I would love to have a sleepover with my friends in this loft bed!

I just love whites with a dash of a bright color. And the white brick walls adds more statement to the room.

A blackboard wall! I want one!

If I would go to a boarding school, I would want the rooms to be like this. Everything just looks so cozy.

Books!

For some weird reason, this reminds me of Alice In Wonderland. A modern version?

This bathroom is just so tad cute! Clean, simple, and dainty.

Vogue Fantasy Editorials

I'm a such a sucker for fairytale tales with a different twist. And this time, it's a fashionable twist.
So here are the two of my most favorite fantasy fashion editorials by Vogue US.

"Alice in Wonderland"
by Annie Leibovitz and modeled by Natalia Vodianova

"Into the Woods"
by Mert and Marcus and modeled by Natalia Vodianova

The outfits, the settings, the theme, the photography, everything is just so perfect! I could just stare at these shots for hours. (And Natalia Vodianova is one exquisite fairytale beauty) Just seeing these makes me want to have a fairytale inspired photoshoot.

A world where the past collides with the future...

STEAMPUNK!
Brass gears, flying ships, steam engines, futuristic past, edgy meets Victorian with a pint of Lolita, bizarre inventions, busy streets, weird science, unusual architecture, and different view from a different world.
